Technic3D: Freezer 4

For a budget price, you can in my opinion, buy one of the greatest socket 478 heatsinks out there, AC did and has done it right, all the power to them. Just don't get too close to that fan.

PC Games Hardware: Freezer 64

CDRinfo: Freezer 7

The Freezer 7 proved to be more than a standard cooling solution. It proved to be a good one, keeping the temperature levels low without producing too much noise and without pushing everything else inside the PC case to the sides in order to fit.
While reviewing this heatsink, we were able to verify that this is indeed a silent cooler. It appears that the patented fan design, along with the heat-pipes and the fins, really make a difference.

PC Lab: Freezer 64

This is excelent lightweight cooler with great performance. The cooler worked great, the installation process is also pretty simple. The fan is very quiet and I suppose it would not have any problems working at lower voltage. Overall, excellent product for users with thin wallets.

CDRinfo: Freezer 64

Great performance from the "Freezer 64" CPU cooler in all cases, both with normal and overclocked processors. It's sure to impress overclocking enthusiasts. Thumbs up for Arctic Cooling.
Throughout these pages we saw what constitutes a really good cooler, without having to be either big in size, or producing a significant levels of noise. Arctic cooler gave us the perfect solution for all users out there, who desire a silent and cool solution for their AMD based processors.
Concluding, what we have here is a low noise, easy to install, excellent cooler with an excellent price tag, which according to Arctic Cooling is at US$35 / €28. A very low price for what this cooler offers. So, thumbs up for Arctic Cooler and the Freezer 64 AMD CPU Cooler.

HardwareOC: Freezer64

GOG Net: Freezer 64

I've used this cooler in my main rig for almost 2 months.
I can easily fall asleep with my computer running with the Freezer 64.This is a warranty that you won't get disturbed at all by the noise generated (so lil' noise) from this cooler.
Well, after all this usage period, I can guarantee that you'll love this heatsink. It's quite quiet, very efficient, and well-priced.

DriverHeaven: Freezer 64

At 12v the Zalman wasn’t very quiet; it easily was the loudest component in the system. While the Arctic Cooler Freezer 64 was nearly inaudible at all times. Extra points for the Arctic design so far.
Overall these heatsinks are more then able to supply adequate cooling for any of the AMD 64 bit range, but if I had to choose between them I would opt for the Arctic cooling Freezer 64. primarily because it’s only half the weight of the zalman, it is very quiet, and just as important it’s almost half the price!!

(HW)zone.com.il: Freezer 4

"The perfect silence, the impressive performance and the bundled thermal paste (which outperforms even the Arctic Silver 5) give the Freezer 4 one of the best price/performance ratios in the market, and turn it into a worthy purchase indeed."

PC Arena: Freezer 64

Two coolers excelled in this roundup and will receive our GOLDEN EDITOR AWARD: Arctic-cooling Freezer64 - Low price, very good performance, very low noise and very easy installation. The Freezer64 was the only alternative cooler in this roundup that weighted close enough to AMD suggested maximum weight.

EXTENSIVE MODS: Freezer 4

An excellent point about this heatsink. The installation is wonderfully easy.
For the price, this heatsink is excellent. The noise level was excellent as well as the cooling capacity.

Custom PC: Freezer 7

The Freezer 7 isn't all mouth and no trousers, as it cooled our overclocked and overvolted 3.96GHz Pentium 4e to 12űC below the reference Intel HSF.
As the Freezer 7 is slightly less awkward to fit than all the other LGA775 HSFs, provides far superior cooling compared with the reference Intel HSF, and costs just Ł19.99, it's the obvious choice for cooling an LGA775 Pentium 4.

ATI News: Freezer Series

"The Freezer 64 is undoubtedly a great product. An excellent combination of smart design, great performance and a low price ($30), allow any user to take his Athlon 64 a step forward thanks to a significant overclock, without worrying about the temperature."

Silent PC Review: Freezer 4

With fan voltage held constant, the Freezer 4 is quieter by a large margin but cooling performance remains close if not equal to the Zalman. In fact, probably the only statistically significant difference is at 5V.
Another significant advantage for the Freezer for is that its side-mounted fan can allow the hot air from the cooler to be blown straight out by a back case exhaust fan, which may give it an overall improvement for case cooling. In comparison, the more common down-blowing HSF like the Zalman 7000.
We did not expect the level of performance that we got from this heatsink.

moddershq: Freezer 64

Arctic Cooling has a real winner here with the A64 Freezer. It’s both powerful and silent. The Venus12 used to be my 24/7 HSF, but once I put in this A64 Freezer I haven’t looked back once. It keeps my overclocked processor at great temperatures. on top of that, it’s nice and quiet. The build quality is great and the packaging with little extras was executed wonderfully. Although it is a beast of a cooler and is tricky to mount, I was very impressed with this HSF, and look forward to what they (Arctic Cooling) will do in the future. If you want great performance at low sound levels this is for you.

Toxico PC: Freezer 64

A cooler with a unique design, high cooling performance and very low noise level, appropriate to overclocking.
It is a product recommended by its relation of price and quality.

Rage3d: Freezer 7

Finally I was really impressed with how quiet the cooler is. Even with almost all the other fans in my system disabled and the side panel removed the Freezer 7 was a barely audible, even when running at 1500 RPM it's nothing more than a whisper. In all honesty I think it's the quietest CPU cooler I've ever used on any platform.
Cooling performance is decent too. I don't think it'll replace your liquid cooling setup, but it's significantly better than the stock P4 box cooler I tested it against.
Arctic Cooling has impressed me again. If you're looking for a quiet, affordable, and good performing Socket 775 cooler, the Freezer 7 should be on top of your list.

Overclex: Freezer 7

ARTIC COOLING perfectly achieved their target - a silent and affordable cooler!
I was really impressed by the noise level the Freezer 7 obtained, it was hardly audible! Honestly, I think this is the quietest cooler I have ever tested.

MODTHEBOX.COM: Freezer 4

Arctic Cooling has provided yet another uniquely styled heatsink which deviates from traditional heatsink design. The Freezer 4 provides some great aesthetics with the aluminum heat exchanger and four copper heat pipes.
The bundled 72mm cooling fan is one of the quietest fans that I have had a chance to evaluate which means there are some additional applications where this unit would be suitable such as an HTPC system.
Overall, I’m rating this product a 8.5 out of 10 and would recommend it to users looking to obtain decent performance without excessive noise levels.

HWLogic.com: Freezer 64

We were quite pleased with the overall impression that the Arctic Freezer 64 left us with. The performance of this cooler was great, the price was acceptable, and it was nearly silent. Looking back at the temps of this cooler we saw that it posted up some really close numbers to the Tower 112-CU that is quite a bit more expensive.
If you are looking for a great cooler for your Athlon 64/FX based system, make sure to give the Arctic Freezer 64 a second look.
We are giving the Arctic Freezer 64 a rating of 4.5 out of a possible 5. Again, if you are looking for a high performance cooler for your Athlon 64/FX based system make sure to consider this one.

Big Bruin: Freezer 64

The Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 does a great job at cooling, and the only negative is also a plus for it. The unique fan design can't be replaced with another fan if it dies, but the design of it is also the reason for it being so quiet and efficient. With a 6-year warranty on the fan this becomes less of an issue. If you are still using the same heat sink after 6 years you will have easily gotten your money worth out of it.
The price to performance ratio scores big points, I found it really difficult to come up with anything negative to say about the Freezer. Overall I have to give this a 5 out of 5... "Highly Recommended".

MarnsCDA: Freezer 64

If you need a silent, moderately priced cooler for your AMD64 CPU and are not planning on any serious over clocking, then this cooler is for you. It will perform better then a stock Box cooler and with less noise. The AC Freezer64 definitely earns our Blue Ribbon Seal of Approval for a quality, silent solution.
Rating: 5 and 1/2 out of 6 Stars

ExtremeMHZ: Freezer 4

I am very impressed with the Freezer 4…Arctic-Cooling has managed to seriously upgrade performance without sacrificing their legendary silence. Installation of this heatsink is simple and quick, even though the mechanism is rather scary looking. EM Recommended!

INSANETEK:Freezer 64

Arctic-Cooling has done the impossible with this cooler (excellent price, excellent cooling, excellent noise/performance ratio, excellent installation convenience), and it is for this reason that I am awarding it InsaneTek's "Must Have" award.

PC extreme: Freezer 64

"ARCTIC COOLING nous fait part d'un produit de trčs bonne qualité, qui a des bonnes performances et qui n'est pas trčs cher! En plus il est fourni avec une pâte thermique, qui a mon avis est pas mal du tout! Pour tous ceux qui ont un Athlon 64 et qui veulent avoir un petit peu de silence, je le recommande."
ARCTIC COOLING provided a  product of very good quality which offers good performances and is not very expensive!  Further more it comes with a thermal paste which is not bat at all in my opinion!  For all those who have an Athlon 64 and who want to have a little bit of silence, I recommend it.

techniz.co.uk: Freezer 7

This Freezer 7 CPU cooler from Arctic Cooling is a good performance CPU cooler. Not only that, this cooler is very silent compare to the Intel stock cooler. The performance of the Freezer 7 was very good as you can saw it on the performance section.
Go for this Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 if you are looking for a good performance CPU cooler for your LGA 775 system.

Svethardware: Freezer 7

Arctic Cooling has become a synonym for quiet Coolers.
The Freezer 7 offers the same performance as the large Zalman at max. fan speed, but thanks to its ceramic bearing the Freezer 7 is quieter.
It was the most efficient cooler in the test.

PC Modding Malaysia: Freezer 4, 7 & 64

Overall, the Arctic Cooling Freezer 4 and Freezer 7 is a great CPU cooler. Installing and getting these Freezers running was quick, thanks to its user friendly design. Priced just at USD34 / RM130 each, these Freezers are definitely a steal. Although it might not freeze your CPU temperatures down sub-zero levels, it put up a good fight among the best CPU coolers we had and even beat the big-daddy (Hyper 6). If you think the Silencer is cool, then the Freezer might just be the right CPU cooler for you!
