"We’ve been getting through quite a few of the lower end – budget specific cases lately and the Core 3000 is yet another to join the group. Lower cost can sometimes mean cut-backs to quality, features and design is this so with Core 3000? Definitely not. Core 3000 is a master in its class. A while back I reviewed the HAF 912 Plus and for a considerable time now it’s been my top pick for those looking to buy a mid-tower on a budget. The Core 3000 is a serious rival to this case. It offers less rugged looks and is going to attract those who prefer subtle looks of a smoother finish. Inside, the Core 3000 is bursting with style - the white/black features contrast perfectly. Visual appearance to the side, the features within Core 3000 befit that of a case with a higher price-tag. We have 3x pre-installed cooling fans – 2x 140mm and 1x 120mm. Included within the bundle is a fan controller so we can manage the RPM of each of these fans and there are optional slots to further increase airflow should we need to, but the stock cooling actually delivers some great thermal performance figures. Flexibility is also a key element for Core 3000, the idea of being able to rotate and remove the upper HDD cage presents us with choice. We can install long graphics cards and even improve airflow by completely removing this HDD cage, Fractal Design have done well to include this as a feature."

"Fractal Design Core 3000 goes for €56, here, and is one of the best cases in €50-70 price range that we’ve tested thus far. We were very pleased to see a €56 case boast such quality and it seems as if it is tougher than most cases in this price range. Fractal Design designed the Core 3000 in the image of its high end cases. Namely, one of the two HDD cages can be taken out or rotated; cables can be routed on the back of the case; it has three fans with a fan controller, etc. Although it is smaller than a high tower case, this mid-tower case will take any graphics card and cooler up to 160mm tall."

"Voyons niveau design : ce boîtier est un boîtier classique « ne dit on jamais que le classique ne meurt pas », la preuve en est aujourd’hui ! Sa couleur sobre et passe partout s’accorde très facilement à plusieurs types d’intérieurs. Il nous offre également un très bon espace interne et la possibilité de « customiser » à notre manière grâce à son rack disques durs amovible à 100% , ce qui est un point très intéressant à mettre en avant : aucun utilisateur de pc n’a la même façon de voir les choses, gaming, simple surf ou bureautique, chaque personne a une façon différente d’utiliser son ordinateur donc quoi de mieux qu’un pc modulable!"

The Swedish company has established itself as key player in an increasingly crowded marketplace, and we can see why; its chassis are feature packed and priced with the mass market in mind. Taking aim at the value segment, the Core 3000 - retailing at under £55 - offers consumers a good selection of high-end functionality at an affordable price. The ability to house up to seven fans will appeal to extreme users, but the Core 3000 is equally adept at serving the mid-range; the enclosure provides decent airflow right out of the box and it's suitably quiet in use, too."

"Val av datorlåda bör spegla vad man prioriterar och Fractal Design Core 3000 har mycket bra kylning (tre medföljande chassifläktar med fläktkontroller), bra kvalitet, godkänd layout och ganska bra lösningar för kabeldragning. Datorlådan fungerar för nätaggregat i medelklassen och ett långt grafikkort eller två inte allt för långa i crossfire/sli. För det man får tycker vi att datorlådan är riktigt prisvärd."
