OC-Squadron: Arctic Fan 9

All in all, Arctic Cooling’s Arctic Fan 9 shows us that a technologically superior product doesn’t necessarily have to be an aesthetically poor one. It is practically noiseless and impeccable in performance, appearance and presentation. What is more, its convenient price makes it an outstanding choice when having to add fans to the PC. Squadron highly recommends this product and awards it with its highest distinction.

Driverheaven: Arctic Fan 9,12

The Arctic Fan series can stand out from the crowd in this sector. They are innovatively engineered which allows them to be quieter than a standard design. They are also extremely durable and Arctic Cooling supply them with a hefty 6 year warranty, quite exceptional and extremely reassuring! Arctic Cooling have also paid attention to the details, such as the black power connector.

Absolute Insight: Arctic Fan 8

The Arctic Fan 8 has a case temperature of 35-36c. However, the Arctic Fan was significantly quieter. All in all, quite a good fan if you're looking for something to lower the sound coming out of your computer. The Arctic Fan could find a great home inside of a Home Theatre PC Case, or in any case where noise is a problem. At the nice price of $5.99 (MSRP), its a cheap way to keep your case quiet, while not sacrificing any performance.

Tech Source Reviews: Arctic Fan 9, 12

As the tests have indicated, the cooling performance on the Arctic Fans was much greater than with the Antec Tri-Cool fan. An interesting point to note is that with the air duct inside of the case, the cooling performance slightly got worse than without it. An important point is that at a lower rpm than the Tri-Cool fan, the Arctic Fan 12 was able to cool more efficiently, while remaining whisper quiet. After the Arctic Fan 9 was installed, there was virtually no increase in noise, thanks to the rubber dampening system used. All in all, the Arctic Fan is possibly the quitest fan to date.

PC-Modders: Arctic Fan 8,9,12

They must be the best fans in the market today, because with the interesting and effective design they sure meet every demand. This make them suitable for advanced user or any other who wants their noise level down and great cooling solutions. The fans feature a new sound and shock-absorbing mecanism, and a special frame which makes it suck air from the sides as well as the front. We must say, our favorites is the 9 and the 12, because they have a big airflow capasity almost without any noise. The 8 achieves the noise vs. airflow goals just a little bit less, but it's still the best 80mm fan we know about. «So quite you can hear sounds you've never heard before!»

Madshrimps: Arctic Fan 12

"With its ingenious anti-vibration system and solid noise/performance balance at different speeds the Arctic Fan 12 is a prime candidate for excellent case cooling."

BURNOUTPC: Arctic Fan 8,9,12

Overall a really good performing fan, but still watch your fingers there though because it's an open design. Not that these fans would cut your fingers off a like a high speed delta fan would. These fans are cheap, silent and provide enough airflow to keep things cool without the noise of stock fans. Overall a really good line of fans by Arctic Cooling !

Techzine: Arctic Fan 8,9,12

There are minor difference between the Arctic fan and the Papst fan. But the Papst fan is much more expensive as the Arctic fan. They both transport equal air out, I couldn't find big difference between the both fans. So the winner is the Arctic fan! Because of the low price and the much air transport.
