The revolutionary product design is based on a stable high-grade steel framework, which is extremely stable and increase the cooling performance at the same time. Contrary to commercial HDD coolers an extremely quiet and ptimized 80mm fan is used for the first time in the NB Driveguard.

With the rpm of only 1200 U/Min the NB UltraSilentFan SC1 fan obtains new reference in cooling performance and noise reduction.

A further detail are the two totally enclosed and thus against
dust protected precision ball bearings. Differently than with dust and
heat-susceptible sleve bearings in commercial HDD coolers - with a
wear and loss rate precarious for professional applications... the
bearings of the fan are integrated thus perfect and captivate by a
sensational quiet running.

With the enclosed potential transformer the NB Driveguard can be
operated in silent mode, thus almost loudless. Even in this particularly currentsaving mode the high speed aggregate supplies thereby always still amazing cooling performance, which conventional coolers reach frequently only on the highest performance level.

The NB Driveguard installed directly under the 3.5" HDD where its cooling performance can be used optimal.
